We travel by caravan, motorhome and van, just like you. Campernest is the tool we wish we'd had before every trip.
It all started with a big frustration
Before every trip, it was the same story. Hours of searching, fifteen tabs open, and often for nothing:
- Not finding the campsite, or finding nothing useful about the one we had in mind.
- Looking for a campsite with three or four specific criteria, and having to wade through page after page to get there.
- Not knowing where to leave the caravan or motorhome over the winter.
- Not finding a wash bay our vehicle would fit in.
- Never knowing whether the entrance, the lanes and the pitch would take our rig.
In short, a big frustration. So we decided to build it ourselves.
Digital people who love to build
We are French, based in France. Our trade is digital. And what we enjoy most is building useful things for other people.
These days, building a website or an app is much faster than it used to be. What really matters is the ideas, the thinking and the time we put in: on the road, on campsites, and listening to people who travel like us.
The Nesters, a network that helps each other
Nobody knows a place better than those who have been there. That is the idea behind the Nesters: everyone shares what they saw on site, so the next one avoids a nasty surprise.

Every share appears straight away and earns XP and trophies. If something is wrong, any Nester can report it.

- Reviews belong to travellersA campsite can reply to a review, never delete it.
