Does it cost anything to list my barn or plot?
No. It's 100% free with no commitment: no subscription, no commission, for you or for the person you host. You set your price, you are paid directly, and you can pause or remove your listing whenever you like.
How much does caravan or motorhome storage cost?
It mainly depends on the shelter: an outdoor plot often costs €30 to €50 a month, a covered shelter €40 to €70, an enclosed barn €50 to €120. Vehicle length and duration matter too: many hosts offer a seasonal or yearly price.
Is the host responsible for my vehicle?
On Campernest the host rents out a space: they do not guard the vehicle in the legal sense, and each party stays insured for their own property.
Does my vehicle need to stay insured over the winter?
Yes. The host insures their building or land, you insure your vehicle. Let your insurer know where it is stored.
How do I know whether my motorhome fits through the door?
Each listing gives the door height and width and the maximum length. With your vehicle's dimensions, Campernest tells you straight away whether it fits, with a 20 cm margin in height.
Can I collect my vehicle during the season?
Each listing states the access: any time, or by appointment with the host. Ask in your request if you travel in winter.
How do I list my barn or plot?
