What is a Nester?
A Nester, also known as a CamperNester, is part of the Campernest community: a traveller by caravan, motorhome, van or tent who shares what they saw on site, so the next one travels with peace of mind.
What Nesters do
Nobody knows better than those who have been there whether a pitch takes an 8 m outfit. Every Nester adds their bit, in a minute.
They share
Photos of pitches, how their vehicle got in, accepted length, ground, bends: what the official listings don't say.
They help each other
A question about a campsite? Nesters who have been there answer. The best answers help hundreds of travellers.
They correct
Wrong information, a closed weighbridge, a difficult access: a Nester reports it, and the page is updated for everyone.
They keep their memories
Travel log, getaway wishes, campsites they've been to: their journey stays with them, and the map fills with colour.
XP and trophies
Every contribution earns XP and unlocks trophies. No levels to climb, just the fun of helping and collecting.

And what does “Campernest” mean?
Campernest is the travellers' nest: a place where everyone finds the campsite that suits their vehicle, thanks to those who went there first. And the ones who live in it are the Nesters.
- Camper
- someone who travels and parks their wheels, by caravan, motorhome, van or under canvas.
- Nest
- the place where you feel good, where you come back to, among your own.
