Photos in articles come from openly licensed image libraries (Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons); the author and licence are shown below each photo. Campsite photos come from the campsite’s own website, its managers or Nesters; the source is shown on each photo. A campsite that would like a photo removed is welcome to contact us.

Campsite pages are written using open data (OpenStreetMap, under the ODbL licence; public classification registers), information published by campsites on their own websites, and contributions from Nesters. Sources are cited at the bottom of each page. Managers can claim and correct their campsite’s page free of charge.

The tools give indicative results, in the form of ranges, based on the information you enter. They do not replace official regulations, your vehicle’s documents or professional advice. Always check the official sources given on each page.

Campsite information (access, pitch sizes, facilities, opening dates) may change: please confirm it with the campsite before you set off.
