Route and toll barriers
From Marseille, you reach Aix-en-Provence on the A51, free on this stretch, then follow the A8, "La Provençale", to Nice. The A8 is run by Escota (Vinci Autoroutes); the price is that of the official Aix – Nice link.

Good to know
The A8 crosses the Esterel and the Riviera: in summer, the barriers are very busy. With an electronic toll tag, you skip the queues at the booths.
